Once more into the dreamscape, dear friends, once more...!
This one I mostly remember because it charms me. I was on the train, the proper main-line train, when suddenly we were being sent through an old mine tunnel or something. We came out in someone's workshop (as in the train drove through it), then had a delightful trip across a marshy area.
It turned out that the man who owned the workshop was such a big train fan that he'd built his own narrow-gauge railway - one that either connected up with, or passed adjacent to, the main line. I say 'either', but I'm pretty sure the transition onto his line was just the route the train took, while the transition off was an actual transfer.
Really, I just like the idea of making the train lines more interesting. They can be pretty dull.
And then there was one that was... something about Shakespearean acting, but I can't remember. I think it was kind of surreal, so that's a shame.
