Because blarg.
I don't particularly like having a to-do list. I especially don't like having one where everything on it is time-consuming and horrible. And I really don't like the fact that it includes back-to-back audits by two of our more difficult customers.
Nor do I like the fact that I'm going to have to cover a lab shift for one of my staff. But I'm nice, so I'll let him take that holiday to Iceland anyway.

Checking things off as complete, and especially completing a series of check-boxes, makes me happy. It's why I do ridiculous, tedious editing projects on the wiki. {= )
Can't argue with audits being unpleasant, though. I've never had one, but being looked over always makes me edgy and more inclined to make mistakes. I don't like anyone watching me while I work. >.

Date: 2017-01-06 09:04 am (UTC)From:And I have to admit the to-do lists (I technically have six dotted around my office, though most of them are obsolete) are very useful. I just don't like the things on them. ^_^ The stuff which I don't mind doing usually doesn't make its way onto a formal list, which means they're left saying things that I don't want to do.
